This study addresses the most important features of change witnessed by education libraries and information, with surrounding importance and justification of such change, and its effects on the future of libraries and information centers. Study provides recommendations to bring about the necessary change in the education programs in Saudi universities, so as to be able to meet market requirements function, and future needs . INTRODUCTION: imposed rapid and successive developments in computer technologies, telecommunications and information burdens and responsibilities of large libraries and education information, as a group on a basic graduation degree scientific cadres capable of taking the reins of these developments, and interact with them, and take advantage of them .. However, the fact itself that a gap between what studied by the student academically and the reality which it finds itself after graduation, and complain employers and officials sectors that receive graduates of library and information than double the preparation of graduates and their inability to perform the functions of the functions assigned to them, without software intensive training after graduation . Indeed, this complaint is not limited in the case of graduates of library and information, but extends to the graduates a number of Departments, something had to be to stop him, and in-depth search, and to identify the causes, and to propose appropriate solutions to him, at the right time .. Will come only through periodic review what it offers in the academic programs, and work to develop and modernize in order to cope with the nature of the changes and developments in the field, and without this, the gap will grow wider, leading to a decline in demand for study library and information science, which does not threaten only cancel sections of libraries and information under the pretext of the limited functionality, but that it will cast a shadow on the library profession in general. hence .. This study is trying to identify the practices of others, and the practical steps that have been taken to face this reality and the changes that have been developed, and then propose ways to be followed to control this problem, with surrounding obstacles that must be overcome in this regard.
