Abstract : This research aims to study intellectual production printed for the child in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to identify the size and quality of food for thought provided to the child and Saudi recognize the contributions of writers and authors in the field of copyright for the child in the Kingdom and stand on the movement of publishing children's books in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The study was based on a survey method where a comprehensive survey of all bodies publisher of the child in the kingdom and used the questionnaire and interview as tools to achieve this purpose. The study stages experienced by children's literature printed in the kingdom, has been studied intellectual production of child numerical study quality, and the movement of publishing children's books and obstacles to the movement of book publishing in general and children's books in particular, were then review samples of intellectual production with straightened. The study found that the contribution of Arab authors lion's share in the field of copyright for the child in the kingdom was a prominent and clear has emerged along with the names of Saudi Arabia. And of the most prominent features of children's literature printed in the Kingdom is that its objectives were educational since his birth, and the books and children's stories have had a religious nature were not children's library in the Kingdom 27 years, but years infrequent as marred Fterna break, the first period of 1380-1396 e and the second lasted one year (1402) has not issued any periodic children. And the age of children's books to exceed 8 years, beginning in 1398/1978. And that the real boom period for children's literature begins in 1400/1980. Where this period was marked by the entry of new elements in the world of children's publishing, besides the role of the publishing business contributed some scientific institutions and government and private individuals share Mahfouz in publishing for children in the Kingdom.
