Abstract : The current study focuses on the extent to which models can be designed to create the knowledge of faculty members at King Abdul Aziz University in the Faculty of Arts and Humanities to generate and share knowledge in the production of books in the subject of the thematic subjects. The aim of this course is to draw a model for the knowledge of the dimensions of the implicit knowledge (experience, skill, thinking) of faculty members in the Faculty of Arts, to design a model that will produce and generate knowledge based on competitive criteria, Draw a model for knowledge sharing and knowledge generation at the internal and external levels. The importance of the current study stems from its uniqueness in designing models for knowledge management at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at King Abdul-Aziz University in Jeddah and because it has practical and technical importance in its ability to transform implicit knowledge into explicit knowledge. The documentary approach and content analysis methodology were used for previous studies to find out the most important factors related to the study variables, and to follow the method of graphical and hierarchical studies to determine the flow of knowledge. The study resulted in several models which are considered as a guiding method for creating organizational culture and interaction between the behavior of individuals inside and outside the institution with both the behavior of the scientific department itself and the behavior of the university to which the scientific department belongs. In this sense, it is possible to create a way to diagnose, generate and share knowledge inside and outside the scientific department. The study also recommended conducting further studies to test other factors that affect the information behavior of the faculty members in the scientific departments in the universities with attention to the elements of organizing the knowledge and storing the knowledge that were not covered in the present study, and also conducting further research by applying the elements mentioned in the present study But using other research approaches such as the survey methodology and case study.
