Abstract : The main focus of this survey is to investigate the concept of library 2.0 and the concept of librarian 2.0 theoretically and how it is applied in the main Saudi University libraries and their readiness to represent those concepts. The study used the survey methodology to collect data from the major university Saudi libraries. It is hoped that the theoretical part shaded the light on the new concepts of internet 2.0 Web 2.0, library 2.0, and librarian 2.0 to present the specialists with current state of developments and be able to work to develop their libraries and their programs. The applied part of the study showed little readiness to adopt web2 applications, but strong interest in moving forward towards applying web2 applications in there libraries
