Praise be to Allah and peace be upon Prophet Mohammed.
This thesis entitled "Sheikh Omar Sulaiman Alashqar And his Efforts in
Call & Reform" tackled the class and reformative aspects of Sheikh
Alashqar's biography (May Allah be mercy with him) and his efforts in
spreading Islam and clarifying its arts and regulations for different types of
called people through various methods and means. This is to participate in
explaining the factors affecting the preparation of callers in the present age
and how to benefit from such factors through sheikh's career in call. The
research used the inductive approach and analytical descriptive method and
came in an introduction, four chapters, and a conclusion as follows:
The introduction tackled the proposal, the subject importance, and
the study methodology. The first chapter stated sheikh's age, environment,
personal life, and academic formation. Chapter two included the method
that sheikh Alashqar adopted in call and reform as well as the most
important means. Chapter three included his efforts in preparing preaches
and their duties besides efforts with regard to called people. I mentioned
sheikh Alashqar's position of three class; the scholars and callers, the
public, and the opposing. In chapter four I tackled his reform efforts in the
most significant domains; jurisprudence, ideology, morals, Jihad, and
standing for Islamic issues. The thesis was concluded by the most important
findings and recommendation of the research.
The essence of his call is based on unifying the nation on the Holy Quran
and the sunna through the method of Ahlussuna wa Aljamaa and avoiding
disagreement and fanaticism. |
