Abstract |

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the whole World, Peace and blessings be
upon our Prophet Muhammad And all his family and companions.
Hereafter , :
The subject of this " Thesis " is War's concept & its Comprehensiveness
according to The Quran and Sunnah , the nature of this subject
necessitated to divide it into, introduction, a preface, three sections, a
conclusion and indexes.
In the introduction I mentioned the importance of the subject and my
reasons for choosing this subject, the plan of the research, and my
approach.
In the preface I introduced a concise study about the struggle between
right and wrong as it is in The Quran and Sunnah. Then I began to
present a summery for the wars of the people of the book (the bible), and
how it deviated its actual heavenly approach as time passed. Till Islam
came to restore the sacredness of the war. This is because it restricted it
by disciplined conditions, and fair provisions legislated by GOD the
Almighty.
In the first section I discussed the kinds of war which the Islamic law
fought inside its Islamic community in order to purify it from all forms
of corruption whether it was a corruption in creed and morals or in the
security or economic aspect. I presented the varied Islamic methods to
overcome these corruptions and evils by using different methods which
are totally appropriate to the wise gradual clinching and punishment. I
assured that the success of the Muslims in their external wars against the
enemy was based on their success in their internal self struggle.
In the second section I also highlighted the concept of struggle in Islam.
It was first legislated to defend itself and when it gradually became
strong it began to fight in order to set free those who are persecuted and
punish the violators and all those who try to hinder the advocacy and
propagation of religion. In the third section I concentrated on showing
the moral aspect in the wars of the early conquerors ,God bless them, and
that they derived these morals from the texts of revelation which – in its
origin – is a whole system of values and principles. These values and
principles helped its followers to become well established and nonturbulent
even during the most difficult and reckless circumstances.
They were strongly committed to justice without leaving mercy and
charity. The secret of this balance was that its source was divine.
As a whole the subject discusses the concept of war and is based on its
comprehensive concept in Islam where the Islamic law uses it to reform
all sorts and forms of corruption inside and outside the Islamic
community. Islam uses it in a miraculous precautionary and merciful
form which the human history didn't recognize a similar one before.
This study assures the meaning of peace in the Islamic religion, and it
shows the method by which Islam handled the different issues and
dilemmas of the nation. It also defends the concept of the Islamic
struggle against the fabricated smear campaign which Islam is exposed
to by both its opponents and radical persons from its own people. It was
necessary to show and explain the concept of that strength which Islam
uses. This is done by an academic objective study according to the Quran
and Sunnah. Here lies the importance of this study.
This research is ended by a conclusion in which I recorded the most
important conclusions that I reached. |
