Abstract : The enormous potential offered by the World Wide Web (Internet) to serve the educational and cultural purposes can not be ignored, the network has enabled educational institutions to provide a quality service Developed which was able to achieve educational goals more effectively, and here it is not an option for those institutions only access to the Internet and interact with them and employ them and discuss the new roles that can do it through the Internet. In other countries, both Western ones or Eastern managed educational institutions of the strides forward in this area in the Arab world as well as there are serious attempts to employ this technique but attempts are still at the beginning of the road and need a lot of studies and research to develop the sections of libraries and information in the universities of Arab, they are still largely absent on the employment of Internet technology as one of the key tools that should form the backbone of these sections are covered in this study and the reality of libraries and information departments in the Arab countries to learn how to employ the Internet and take advantage of its services
