This study is targeting to be aware of the relaxation activities of the tourists who come from Asir region to Jeddah Governorate, through being aware of what is distinguishing Jeddah city, such as natural and human components, information, abilities, services infrastructure and other of the tourism attractive factors and the relation of those to the relaxation activities of the tourists whose came from Asir region to Jeddah Governorate.
To achieve the study objectives, the related data and information had been compiled by referring to the books, essays, previous researches and published formal statements, as well as a questionnaire form had been prepared and circulated randomly to sample of (570)person of v population, the questionnaire comprised group of questions aiming to know about the demographic characteristics of the samples individuals of the study, in addition to other questions related to their trends towards the tourism in Jeddah Governorate, and the components that specifies the relaxation activities in Jeddah city, for answering the study queries, the researcher used some of statistical approaches such as duplication, percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, intersecting tables, kai square test, compatible parameter, Pierson Correlation, As the study shows that the closeness of Jeddah Governorate location to the two holly mosques (Al Haramein Alshareefein), represents one of the most important components of relaxation and touristic activities of the tourists who come from Asir region aiming at tourism and promotion in Jeddah city, as well as the study showed that there is a relation between the numbers, components, and quality of the commercial centers services, developed hospitals, Jeddah location on the Red Sea, job and education opportunities in Jeddah, the climatic and environmental conditions in Jeddah, and between the relaxation activities of the tourists who come from Asir region for tourism and relaxation in Jeddah Governorate.
As the study confirms the distinguishing of the residence and accommodation is one of the important and effective touristic attraction elements and relaxation activities of the tourists who come from Asir region for tourism in Jeddah Governorate. Therefore, the researcher gave some recommendations, most important of them are: to form a governmental commission that concern with promotion of tourism level in Jeddah and to arrange group tours for the students from Asir region to Jeddah with emblematic and reasonable fees. |
