Abstract : honor crimes via internet is one form of cyber crimes and such crimes reflect the dark side of the IT and communication revolution. The Saudi legislator addresses such crimes by issuance of the Anti-Cyber Crime Act on 7/3 / 1428H, whereby the act clauses criminalize the abuse of internet. In spite of the existence of this act and the importance of the interests it safeguards, still some provisions in the act are vague and have shortcomings in some parts, and what makes things even worse is that the implementing regulations which express the intention of the legislator clearly, are still not yet issued. This study has tackled the honor which the Saudi legislator stipulates through the analytic description and statement of material and moral pillars as well as the imposed punishments on perpetrators of such offences. All that have been discussed in three chapters preceded by an introduction showing the general framework of the study. The first chapter includes the definition of honor crimes via internet and from that definition we introduced the definition of honor in Sharia rule and law, its status and concept of honor cyber crimes which are stipulated in the Saudi law, which involves cyber spying, unauthorized access, violation of public order and public ethics, privacy, defaming crime, human being trafficking and finally the crime of creating and constructing ethnography materials and data. The third chapter was devoted to general principles of responsibility for honor crimes whereby the stipulated punishment has been defined and the rules regarding contribution to committing such crimes are also stated. The study has been concluded by a conclusion comprises of the key results and recommendations, the most important of which is the seriousness of honor crimes and the necessity of imposing more stringent punishment different from other ones and the importance of issuance of the implementing regulations for the act to better describe the intention of the legislator of the Act.
