Abstract : This study deals with city of Bisha from administrative, social and economic points of view during the period from 1917 to 1953, since the city was governed under the rule of King Abdul Aziz and until his death. The topic is so important in his subject, where it have not been addressed in Academic study before, and aims to documentation of the administrative, social and economic development of Bisha city. The study begins with a review on the political situation in Asir during the periods of the First Saudi State reign and the Ottoman campaigns during the period of the rule of the second Saudi state reign, as well as the study shows how Bisha city was governed under the King Abdul Aziz rule, and names of princes of Bisha in his reign, and their most important works. The study also deals with the names of the judges and the way of their work. In addition, the study highlights on the financial administration of Bisha and its activities, with referring to history of establishment of the Police, Post and Telegram service. It also contains some information on the famous persons who were working on the field of education during the period of the Katatib "Traditional and Primitive Schools", and the first school was opened in Bisha, and teaching methods and so on. Furthermore, the study reviews the various aspects of the people, their life and most social conditions in that period; such as: customs and traditions, marriage and games, clothing, cosmetics, and health conditions in the city, the most common diseases and methods of treatment, and role of King Abdul Aziz in establishment of hospitals and clinics in the country. The study also extends to cover the economic situation, and the main activities of the people that they practiced, agriculture and its components, the most important crops, grazing, and some plants that grow in its lands, crafts and small trades in which they were working in, and Trade and most famous markets in which they are held, together with the most goods offered therein. The concludes that Bisha has developed administratively after it has been entered to the rule of King Abdul Aziz; where a range of administrative institutions were arisen, and achieved education, health, agricultural renaissance, as well as means of transportation was developed along with ensuring of security, especially at the end of the reign of King Abdul Aziz, then in the reign of his sons after him.
