This study handle the Abbasid Caliphate during the reign of Caliph Mostarshed Bellah (512- 529 AH, 1118-1135). He was able to maintain the position achieved by the first Abbasid caliphs, and determinate the independence of Iraq, has won victories against Dubies Mazidi, and hit the Seljuks each other, defeated them in several confrontations, and then subdued Mosul and Tikrit to his power, people and the princes of the parties engaged under the banner of Caliph Mostarshed Bellah. It seems that the victories achieved by the Caliph, has made him to rush more urgent to put the end of Seljuk, so the Caliph decided to get out of Baghdad to start the war against Sultan Masood, but he lost the battle and became a prisoner of war and then killed by Al Batinia as the instigation of the Sultan Masood and Singer in 529 AH / 1135 AD. He had revived the architecture, economic, social, and scientific aspects, and there were numerous reform business that attracted the people to support the war.
This study was titled " Abbasid Caliphate during the reign of Caliph Mostarshed Bellah (512-529 AH / 1118-1135 AD)," and dealt with the conditions of the Abbasid Caliphate before taking Caliph Mostarshed Bellah the Caliphate . I had mentioned the ancestry of Caliph Mostarshed Bellah, his growth and his Caliphate and explained his internal policy toward the dissent of his brother, Dubies Ben Sedkka Mazidi and Imad ad-Din Zinky. I handled his foreign policy with the Seljuks, the Batinia and the Crusaders, and then mentioned the systems of governance and administration in his reign, and reported social status & Urban, economic and scientific Development. Finally I mentioned the death of Caliph Mostarshed Bellah at the hands of the Batinia. |
