Abstract : The research includes origami art by following its history to reach results of using this art at the moment from its development, multiplicity kinds and famous designers who used it, this is giving innovative visions and new entrances to design a contemporary metal artifacts. Researcher take advantage of origami art by devising designs from drawings for the drawn paper folds and converted it to metal three-dimensional functional by bending technique that give the metal artifacts origami symbol contemporary and innovative, origami art foundations characterized by much of aesthetic qualities that make it innovative entrance enriches side of making metal artifacts by new designs that are unfamiliar with metal slides which is characterized by rigidity, strength and sparkle beauty. This study aims to know the aesthetics of origami art and benefit from its works to design new innovative contemporary metal artifacts that enrich the formation performance of visual field of metal through schemes of origami art. the most important results through researcher own experience show: the origami art is one of available sources which can be utilized in the field of metal works for the presence of artistic and aesthetic values in it, that make it a good field for to try and find a variety of formation solutions that fit with contemporary arts, and the extent of diversity in the bases and building systems, liner and aesthetic relationships for origami art schemes help for the development and innovation of it by taking from it what is commensurate with the thought and the inventive sense of researcher, and highlight the new aesthetics through the materialization of these schemes to be for us metal artifacts overwhelmed by the sign of the era. The researcher recommended take advantage of the origami art schemes by trying to get many ideas, solutions, formulations, and try to translate them by using methods and various metal techniques that enrich side of metal artifacts
