Abstract : This study examines the personality and activity of the Soviet Envoy Karim Hakimov while representing his country in the Arabian Peninsula and extent of Soviet diplomacy's keenness to strengthen the position of the Soviet Union on the international political arena in the Arabian Peninsula in front of the western presence, especially the British. The study aims to introduce the foreign policy of the Soviet Union after the Bolshevik Revolution; to shed the necessary light on the personality and activity of the Soviet Envoy Karim Hakimov from the beginning of his life until his execution without neglecting to rehabilitate him after his death; to highlight the political and economic role that the Soviet Envoy Karim Hakimov played in developing the relationship of the Soviet Union with some political forces in the Arabian Peninsula, such as the Hashemites, King Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the Imam of Yemen; to investigate his role in commercial and diplomatic communication with traders and diplomats in the Arabian Peninsula, and the extent of Hakimov's influence on diplomatic work between communication and stopping after his death; and to evaluate Hakimov's personality while representing his country in the Arabian Peninsula. The study adhered to the historical scientific research methodology based on collecting scientific material from primary sources, such as Russian documents. The study relied on various references, periodicals and Russian scientific letters in addition to encyclopedias, using descriptive and analytical method to reach the desired results to achieve the previous objectives. The study was divided into introduction and a preamble, three chapters, then conclusion and appendices. The preamble addressed the foreign policy of the Soviet Union; as for the first chapter, it focused on the personality of Karim Hakimov prior to the year (1342 AH / 1924 AD); the second chapter, it focused on Karim Hakimov during his diplomatic work in Jeddah; and the third chapter, it addressed Karim Hakimov and the last phase of his diplomatic work; followed by a conclusion that addressed the most important results of the study with the effect of Hakimov after his death; and appendices that included documents and personal photos of Karim Hakimov.
