Abstract : One of the most promising solutions for the future is Software Defined Networking (SDN) by changing the traditional network architecture by transferring all control functions to one location. It is widely preferred because it can be centrally managed and programmatically configured. However, SDN centralization is vulnerable to attacks such as Denial of Service (DoS), Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS), Port Scanning, Flash Crowd, etc. In this message, we attempted to detect a DDoS attack using deep learning and bridging the gap by focusing on the legitimate side of the SDN for data center environments. The proposed scheme consists of the portable nodes, the head console, the detection engine, the domain controller, the source controller, and the cloud center. Malicious packets are analyzed as dangerous (in this case, log traffic as criminal evidence to track the criminal, add the package's IP source to the blacklist, block all packets from this source) or non-dangerous (in this case, block all packets from the source node Non-harmful packets are sent using the proposed protocol. Generally, this study was evaluated in an OMNET ++ simulation environment for metrics like packet loss, execution time, throughput, end-to-end delay, power consumption, accuracy, and time taken to detect Finally, the acquired results indicate its success compared to the current approaches
