Abstract : Saudi Arabia has been facing congestion problems, especially considering the two holy mosques that Muslims visit annually from all over the world to perform the pilgrims and Umrah rituals. Saudi Arabia has set a specific goal in its Vision 2030 to serve the increasing number of visitors to the two holy mosques. In this context, this research handles the crowds in Rawda of Prophet Mohammeds (PBUH) Mosque. Also, it particularly addresses the problem of stampede in the female section where it is constrained by limited space, visiting time, distance, the faraway gates, and the variation in beliefs and cultures. These constraints lead to challenging crowd management and require scientific studies to enhance the current situation. This research aims to enhance the Rawda visit, by managing the crowd through planning optimum paths that ensure shorter waiting time, less collision, and maximum capacity using computer simulation. After that, four proposed solutions with different scenarios have been provided to simulate Rawda visit with its constraints. For each scenario, the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) were measured to be compared in each scenario. After the comparison, the results showed that the best one is scenario-4. This scenario allocates only area B for waiting before starting the visit. In addition, Rawda in this suggestion has been divided into 12 rows, giving the visitors peaceful, organized places to pray. After the entrance of the first group to the holy Rawda, any empty place will be given to a new visitor. This solution improves the holy Rawda visit, through reducing the average waiting time by 71%, which can help in receiving more visitors. An additional enhancement has been added to the dashboard for enabling users to see the effect of changing some variables on the KPIs results. This improvement plays a vital role in analyzing more scenarios with different parameter values, giving better indications to accommodate different seasonal conditions.
