Abstract : The main aim of this research is to find out the relationship between parental treatment methods While children play with electronic games and children's use of electronic games. To reach this goal, The Descriptive Correlation Method was used. The researcher used a questionnaire entitled " Methods of Parenting Treatment followed While Children Play Electronic Games". This questionnaire is prepared by the researcher and based on a simple random sample of (400) parents of children between the ages of (10-12) years old in Tabuk region. The results showed an inverse association between parents adherence to the democratic and authoritarian style While children play with electronic games and the time spent by children playing electronic games,While there is a positive correlation between neglect and excessive pampering used While children play with electronic games by parents and the time children spend playing electronic games .And that the excessive pampering method is the most contributing method of parenting treatment to children’s use of electronic games. The results also showed that parents who follow a democratic or authoritarian style with their children know what kind of electronic games their children use, whil parents who follow the method of excessive pampering or neglect While children play with electronic games they do not know what kind of electronic games their children use.The results showed no differences between boys and girls according to the way parents deal with the number of hours of using electronic games. In light of this, the researcher recommends providing awareness and guidance programs for the family and society about ways to educate parents that may contribute to reducing children's use of electronic games. And holding seminars and forums for the family on methods of parental treatment positive and negative while children use electronic games. Parents are asked to set specific rules and times for children to use electronic games. Key Words: parental treatment, parental styles, Electronic games,children, late childhood.
