Abstract : The current study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of a training program to develop writing readiness skills using sensory integration among children with autism spectrum disorder. Therefore, the researcher used the quasi-experimental method in one group design. The study sample consisted of eight (8) children chosen using the Simpel Random method with autism spectrum disorder at Center Khadija Bint Khuwailad for Autism in Mecca. Also, the study instruments consisted of a measure of writing readiness skills prepared by researchers, and a training program based on sensory integration. The study reached many results, the most important of which is proof of training program effectiveness based on sensory integration to develop readiness to write for children with autism spectrum disorder, and the presence of statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) in writing readiness skills between the prior and post measurement of those children in favor of the post measurement with a large effect size, as well as the presence of statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) in writing readiness skills between the follow-up and post measurement of those children in favor of the follow-up measurement with a large effect size. In light of these results, researchers made many recommendations, including urging families of children with autism spectrum disorder to cooperate with them and involve them in training programs to increase and develop their skills, as well as carrying out various courses for families of children with autism spectrum disorder in order to educate them on how to work on their children's skill development, increase their level of independence, and finally motivating families to undertake a variety of research programs.
