Abstract : The study aimed to identify the level of support provided to new teachers and the level of their needs for support in private kindergartens, to reveal the differences between the average level of support provided by (principals, mentors, and coworkers), and the average need’s level for support, and to reveal the differences between the averages of the support level provided by mentor and the averages need’s level for support whether assigning a mentor or not. The study followed the descriptive analytical approach, a questionnaire was used that included support providers (principals, mentors, and coworkers). The sample included (103) kindergartens teachers. The results indicates the support level by principals achieved a high score (3.70) and the need’s level for support achieved a high score (4.03). The level of support by mentors achieved a high score (3.69) and the need’s level for support achieved a high score (4.00). As for the level of support by coworkers, it achieved a high score (4.04) and the need’s level for support achieved a very high score (4.21). There were statistically significant differences in the averages of support level, and the averages of support needed from (principals, mentors, and coworkers) in favor of needs, and there were statistically significant differences in the averages of support level by the mentor weather assigning a mentor or not, and there were no statistically significant differences in the averages need’s level of mentor’s support depending on assigning a mentor or not. The most important recommendations are: approving a support program for new teachers, giving each kindergarten the authority to implement the program in accordance with its context and needs, appointing a mentor - an experienced teacher - working in the same kindergarten, and promoting collaborative work between new and experienced teachers. A proposed support programme was introduced to new kindergarten teachers.
