Abstract : This study is an attempt to test the following hypothesis: Zakah in the Islamic environment contributes to the achievement of different human developments; psychological, social and economical’. The study has used the scientific methodology and combined between induction and deduction methods using rules, implications and effects of zakah on the development (in Combination with other aspects of the Islamic environment i.e. non-usury, non- monopolistic practices). The study has shown that Zakah in the Islamic Environment is a major tool in achieving human integrity, social security and economic welfare of both people and societies. Based on the above, it is obvious that the hypothesis of the study has been confirmed.
