The main target of This Study is to prepare a list of web page graphic design principles and measurements, then evaluation of the Sudan University for Science and Technology Website
Study depends on the descriptive analytical approach.
The most important results achieved with this Study is the list of web page graphic design principles and measurements, number of measurements is (297) measurements , classified into eight major sectors, represent with Principles of webpage Design (64) measurements, Elements of webpage Design (35) measurements, Typography (79) measurements , Images (24) measurements, Color (34) measurements, Cartoon and Animation (24) measurements, Video (19) measurements and Design and Webpage Designer (18) measurements .
The study came with the evaluation results for Website of Sudan University for Science and Technology , specifically as follows: Principles of webpage Design (44.3% ), Elements of Webpage Design (33.3%) ,Typography (61.1%), Images (43.1%), Color (62.7%) , Cartoon and Animation (-%), Video (-%), and Design and Webpage Designer (48.1%).
Based on the results of this Study, we concluded with some recommendations, to be considered by the decisions makers in order to improve the graphic quality of the web-page:
Most important recommendation is to consider the resulted graphic measurements for web-page design, in order to develop the quality of the web-page design and to use them as indicators for the graphic designers , when designing web-page .
It is important to focus on the artistic and esthetic aspects in designing Website of Sudan University for Science and Technology , applying the criteria to current University webpage .
